The protocol does support product development for new types of cover, such as cover for real world risk and other types of onchain risk.

When you deposit crypto assets into a protocol, your funds are exposed to a variety of risks within that protocol. Protocol Cover is designed to protect you funds against smart contract and economic risk within one (1) protocol's smart contracts.
📄️ Bundled Protocol Cover
When you are earning yield using a strategy that involves more than one (1) protocol, your crypto assets are exposed to risk across multiple protocols. Bundled Protocol Cover is designed to protect your assets against smart contract and economic risk within multiple protocols' smart contracts.
📄️ DeFi Pass Cover
The DeFi Pass product is designed for people who are active in one network's DeFi ecosystem and regularly move their crypto assets between major protocols to get the best yields.
📄️ Native Protocol Cover
With Native Protocol Cover, your team can provide users with a base layer of protection for your protocol's TVL, or a portion thereof, up to $25M.
📄️ Fund Portfolio Cover
This product is designed to cover a fund’s entire yield-generating portfolio. Institutional funds and family offices can purchase Fund Portfolio Cover to earn yield for their LPs while protecting for funds against a worst case scenarios arising from smart contract risk and economic risks.
📄️ ETH Slashing Cover
Organizations that run ETH validators and help secure the Ethereum network are exposed to slashing risks, which can be caused by improper actions such as double-signing, surround voting, downtime, and infrastructure and setup failure.

Onchain cover providers and other providers can protect their underwriting capital against the underlying risks they offer coverage for.
